Will this Wi-Fi door station work through thick walls?

The VTO2311R-WP connects via Wi-Fi, but the signal strength depends on your router and wall material. For brick or concrete walls, we strongly suggest testing the signal with your phone first or using the wired Ethernet (RJ45) connection for maximum stability.

What warranty do I get if the device stops working?

We provide a **2-Year Warranty** for both private and business customers. Our service center is located locally in **Riga**, meaning you get fast support and repairs without the need to ship the unit to another country.

Is the 2.0mm lens on this camera good for viewing license plates?

No, the 2.0mm lens provides a very wide 110° horizontal field of view. It is designed to capture a full view of visitors standing close to the door or gate, rather than focusing on small details like license plates at a distance.

Does the VTO2311R-WP support local video recording?

Yes, this unit has a MicroSD card slot. Thanks to H.265 compression, a 128GB card can typically store weeks of motion-triggered events and visitor video messages, depending on the frequency of use.

Is this the Chinese or Official EU version of the Dahua door station?

This is the **Official EU version**. It supports English and other European languages, works with local firmware updates, and has no region-locking issues. Apsardze24.lv is an authorized partner ensuring you receive genuine hardware.

Can the VTO2311R-WP withstand freezing winter temperatures?

Absolutely. This unit is IP65 rated against dust and water and operates in temperatures ranging from –40 °C to +60 °C, making it perfectly suitable for the harsh winter climates of Latvia, Estonia, and Lithuania.

Which mobile app should I download for the VTO2311R-WP?

You should use the **DMSS** app (Dahua Mobile Security Surveillance), which is available for free on both iOS and Android. This app allows you to receive video calls, talk to visitors, and unlock the door remotely from your smartphone.

How do I wire this door station to my specific magnetic lock?

The unit can control electronic locks via the app or IC cards. However, wiring depends heavily on your specific lock type (Fail-Safe vs. Fail-Secure). For a specific wiring diagram for your setup, please contact our technical support at [email protected].

Can I power the VTO2311R-WP using a PoE switch?

Yes, this model supports Standard PoE (Power over Ethernet). This is highly recommended as it allows you to transmit both data and power through a single Ethernet cable, reducing cable clutter and simplifying installation.
