  1. Mark Thompson –

I’m really impressed with this Dahua camera. The dual-channel display is a game-changer, allowing me to view the wide angle and the zoom feed simultaneously. The WizColor night vision provides excellent clarity. Quick shipping from apsardze24.lv made the whole process easy.

    Mark Thompson –

Does this dual-channel camera provide both a wide view and a zoomed-in view?

Yes, it features a dual-lens system designed for multi-tasking. The 2.8mm fixed lens provides a broad 112° wide-angle overview, while the PT (Pan-Tilt) lens offers a 3.6-8.4mm vari-focal zoom to capture specific details like faces or license plates further away.

How many days of recording can I store on the PTS2449C-4E3Z-S-PV-PRO with a 256GB card?

Because this camera records two channels and utilizes efficient H.265 compression, a 256GB microSD card typically holds about 5–7 days of continuous footage. To extend this timeframe, you can configure the camera to record only when the AI detects humans or vehicles.

Can the PTS2449C-4E3Z-S-PV-PRO be mounted in environments with extreme weather conditions?

This camera is built to operate in temperatures ranging from –30 °C up to +55 °C, making it durable enough for Northern European winters. For specific mounting accessories or specialized bracket recommendations for high-exposure areas, please contact our technical team at [email protected].

Which app do I need to view the PTS2449C-4E3Z-S-PV-PRO live on my smartphone?

To access the dual-channel live view and manage PTZ controls on your phone, you should download the DMSS app, which is available for both iOS and Android. This allows you to monitor the 4MP and 2MP feeds simultaneously from anywhere.

Do I need a separate power supply for the PTS2449C-4E3Z-S-PV-PRO installation?

While the camera supports a 12V DC input, it is also fully compatible with Power over Ethernet (PoE). This allows you to transmit both power and data through a single Ethernet cable, which significantly simplifies the installation process and reduces cabling costs.

How does the Auto Tracking Lite feature behave with two different sensors?

The Auto Tracking Lite feature works intelligently between the two sensors. When a human or vehicle is detected in the wide-angle 2.8mm view, the secondary PT lens automatically moves and zooms to follow the subject, providing high-detail evidence while the first lens maintains full situational awareness.

What is the warranty policy if my camera develops a fault after a year?

This product comes with a comprehensive 2-year warranty for both private and business customers. At Apsardze24.lv, we maintain our own service center in Riga, which allows us to provide fast local repairs and support without the need to ship your equipment back to the manufacturer abroad.

Is the PTS2449C-4E3Z-S-PV-PRO sold here the official EU version or a Chinese region-locked model?

We only supply the official European version of this product. This ensures that you can perform official firmware updates without issues and that the device is fully compatible with local network standards. Apsardze24.lv is an authorized partner, ensuring genuine hardware and software.
