Lens mount interface CS mount

This i-CS lens features the most recent industry standard in intelligent CS-mount optics. It includes three motors, which enable automatic and remote zoom, focus, and iris opening. Lens i-CS 1/1.8″ 3.9-10 mm F1.5 offers great flexibility to your installation thanks to its open protocol and the ability for the camera to interface with multiple features.

The lens is IR-corrected. This means that you don’t need to adjust the camera’s focus when you shift between day and night mode using the IR-cut filter.

  1. Sarah Jenkins –

This lens is a total game-changer for my setup. The i-CS motorized features make remote zoom and focus incredibly easy, saving me trips up the ladder. The IR correction keeps the image sharp day and night without adjustments. Excellent service from the team as well!

    Sarah Jenkins –

Does the Axis 02367-001 require manual calibration for zoom and focus?

No, this lens is fully motorized with open protocol support. Zoom, focus, and P-Iris settings are adjusted remotely via the camera's web interface, allowing for precise setup without physically touching the lens.

What is the practical viewing difference between 3.9mm and 10mm settings?

At the widest 3.9mm setting, the lens provides a broad field of view suitable for monitoring entire rooms or large perimeters. When adjusted to 10mm, it narrows the view to capture higher detail on specific targets at a moderate distance.

I am not sure if my camera model supports i-CS mount lenses, who can I ask?

You must verify that your camera explicitly lists "i-CS mount" in its specifications. If you cannot find this information, please send your camera model number to our support team at [email protected] for verification before purchasing.

What warranty coverage applies to this Axis lens?

Apsardze24.lv offers a comprehensive 2-Year Warranty for all business and private clients. Claims are processed through our local service center in Riga, ensuring fast turnaround times for customers in the Baltics.

Why is the IR-corrected feature important for this lens?

Standard lenses often lose focus when a camera switches to night mode (infrared). This IR-corrected lens compensates for the difference in light wavelengths, maintaining a sharp image in both Day and Night modes without requiring refocusing.

What image sensor resolution is this lens capable of supporting?

The lens is designed for 1/1.8" image sensors and supports resolutions up to 5 Megapixels and 4K. This ensures it matches the high-resolution capabilities of compatible Axis fixed box cameras without degrading image quality.

Can I use the Axis 02367-001 i-CS lens on a standard CS-mount camera?

No, this lens utilizes the intelligent CS-mount (i-CS) interface and is not backward compatible with standard CS-mount cameras. It requires a camera that specifically supports the i-CS protocol, such as the Axis Q1645 or Q1656 series, to power the motors and communicate lens data.
