  1. Sarah Jenkins –

I’m really impressed with the Ajax MotionCam Outdoor. The photo verification on demand is a game-changer for checking my property remotely. It handles the freezing temperatures without any issues. Quick shipping from apsardze24.lv made the whole process smooth. Solid investment for home security.

How does the 'PhOD' feature differ from the standard MotionCam Outdoor?

The PhOD (Photo on Demand) model allows authorized users to take photos via the app at any time to verify the situation, whereas the standard model only captures photos when an alarm is triggered.

What is the expected battery life for this wireless motion detector?

The device comes with 4 pre-installed CR123A batteries that typically last up to 3 years. Note that frequent use of the 'Photo on Demand' feature or operation in extremely low temperatures may reduce battery lifespan.

At what height must I install the detector for pet immunity to work?

To effectively ignore pets up to 80 cm tall, the detector must be mounted at a height between 0.8 and 1.3 meters. Installing it outside this specific height range will disable the pet immunity algorithms and cause false alarms.

What is the maximum wireless range from the Hub?

The device uses Jeweller and Wings protocols with a line-of-sight range of up to 1,700 meters. However, obstacles like thick concrete walls or metal fences will significantly reduce the effective range.

Is this the official EU version compatible with the Ajax app in the Baltics?

Yes, this is the official European version fully compatible with the Ajax Security System app used in Latvia, Estonia, and Lithuania. It supports automatic firmware updates and all local frequency standards.

Does the package include the Hood cover for rain protection?

Box contents can vary by batch; while the device is IP55 rated, for confirmation on specific included accessories or complex installation queries, please contact our technical support at [email protected].

Which Ajax Hub models are compatible with the MotionCam Outdoor (PhOD) Model 39293?

This detector strictly requires a Hub 2, Hub 2 Plus, or Hub Hybrid panel to function because it uses the Wings high-speed protocol for photo transmission. It is NOT compatible with the first-generation Hub or Hub Plus.

What happens if the device becomes defective?

Buying from Apsardze24.lv guarantees a **2-Year Warranty** for all clients. Our service center is based in **Riga**, allowing us to handle repairs or replacements much faster than international marketplaces.

Does the camera provide clear visibility in total darkness?

Yes, the detector features an HDR camera and built-in infrared (IR) backlight. This ensures high-contrast, black-and-white photo verification of events even in unlit outdoor environments.
