The white Ajax KeyPad TouchScreen is a fantastic upgrade. The 5-inch IPS display is crisp and feels just like using a smartphone. It’s incredibly intuitive to manage my smart home devices now. Plus, the service from the shop was top-notch. Highly recommended!

What is the wireless range of the KeyPad TouchScreen White (58455)?

The device utilizes Jeweller and Wings radio protocols to communicate up to 1,700 meters from the hub in an open space. Walls and obstacles will reduce this operational distance.

Does this keypad support key fobs or cards?

Yes, it features a built-in DESFire reader. You can arm and disarm the security system using Ajax Pass cards or Ajax Tag key fobs, which are encrypted to prevent cloning.

Which Ajax hubs are compatible with the KeyPad TouchScreen (58455)?

This keypad requires a Hub 2, Hub 2 Plus, or Hub Hybrid running OS Malevich 2.16.1 or higher. It is not compatible with the original Hub or Hub Plus central units.

What power options does this Ajax KeyPad support?

It comes with 6 pre-installed AA batteries providing up to 1.5 years of operation. For maintenance-free use, you can connect an external power supply (12V) using the terminals inside the SmartBracket panel.

Does the 5-inch IPS display stay on continuously?

The screen stays active constantly only when the device is connected to an external 10.5–14 V DC power supply. When running solely on batteries, the screen wakes up automatically upon approach or touch to conserve power.

Can I control smart home automation devices from this screen?

Yes, the interface allows you to manage up to 6 groups of automation devices. You can turn off lights, close blinds, or activate specific scenarios directly from the touchscreen.

Can I use my smartphone to unlock the system via this keypad?

Yes, the keypad supports Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE). You can disarm the system by simply holding your smartphone with the installed Ajax app near the keypad, without entering a code.

Is it possible to upload custom images for the screen saver?

The interface currently supports automatic day/night themes and standard visual settings. For specific inquiries about advanced firmware customization or branding capabilities, please contact our technical support at [email protected].
