  1. Sarah Jenkins –

The HomeSiren is a great addition to my security setup. It’s surprisingly loud for its size and the white design looks very clean on the wall. I appreciate the customizable sound levels. Also, the service from the website was excellent—fast shipping and good packaging.

Does the 38111 indoor siren store any alarm history or audio recordings?

This device is strictly an audio output alarm and does not have a microphone for recording. However, every activation or event is logged digitally and stored in the notification history within your central hub, which you can review anytime via the smartphone app.

How often do the batteries in the 38111 need replacing?

The device is highly energy-efficient and runs on two pre-installed CR123A batteries that can last up to 5 years. The system will automatically notify you via the app well in advance when the battery levels are running low.

How do I connect an external LED to the unit, and which type fits?

This model features a designated connector for an external LED, often used to indicate the armed/disarmed status outside an apartment door. For specific wiring instructions or to confirm compatibility with third-party LEDs, please contact our technical support at [email protected].

Which mobile app is required to configure the 38111 wireless siren?

You need to download the official Ajax Security System application, which is free for both iOS and Android devices. Through this app, you can pair the device, adjust the volume levels, set alarm durations, and monitor the battery status in real-time.
