What happens if the camera stops working?
Apsardze24.lv offers a comprehensive 2-Year Warranty for all customers, including businesses. Our service center is located in Riga, ensuring fast local support and minimal downtime for your security system.
Can I install this camera outdoors?
Although the camera is rated IP65 (dust and water-resistant), the manufacturer specifies it primarily for indoor placement. For outdoor use, we recommend installing it in sheltered areas, such as under a roof overhang, to ensure longevity.
Does the Ajax DomeCam Mini support two-way audio?
No, this model features a built-in microphone for high-quality audio recording and sound detection, but it does not have a speaker for two-way communication.
What is the viewing coverage of the 2.8mm lens on this 8MP model?
The 2.8mm lens provides a wide field of view (approximately 100° to 110°), making it ideal for monitoring full rooms or corridors. It is not designed for reading license plates or identifying faces at long distances.
Is an Ajax Hub required to operate this security camera?
No, an Ajax Hub is not strictly required; the camera works as a standalone device via the Ajax App or with an Ajax NVR. However, connecting it to a Hub enables advanced alarm-triggered video automation.
Does the Ajax DomeCam Mini (76022) include a power supply in the box?
No, the package does not include a power adapter. You must power the camera using a PoE switch (IEEE 802.3af) or purchase a separate 12V/1A DC power supply.
How many days of video can I record on a 256GB MicroSD card?
At 8MP resolution using H.265 compression, a 256GB card typically holds 2 to 3 days of continuous recording. Configuring the camera to record only when motion is detected can extend this capacity to several weeks.

James Miller –
I’m blown away by the clarity of this 8MP camera. The AI detection for people is spot on, and scrolling through the timeline is incredibly smooth compared to my old setup. Delivery from apsardze24.lv was prompt, too. It’s a solid piece of kit for indoor security.
