  1. Lucas Gray –

I picked up the ReX 2 to boost the signal for the MotionCam in my guest house. It works like a charm! The setup was straightforward, and the white design looks clean on the wall. Really impressed with the fast shipping from apsardze24.lv too.

How does the Ethernet port improve signal range?

The Ethernet port allows the ReX 2 to function as an access point in basements or metal hangars where radio signals cannot penetrate, transmitting alarms and photos via cable back to the Hub.

Can I connect multiple ReX 2 extenders to one system?

Yes, depending on your Hub model, you can connect up to 5 extenders. For complex multi-device configurations, please contact our technical support at [email protected].

What is the battery life of the Ajax ReX 2 during a power cut?

The unit includes a built-in backup battery that ensures up to 38 hours of autonomous operation if the main 110-240V power supply is interrupted.

Does this extender support MotionCam photo delivery?

Yes, the ReX 2 supports MotionCam detectors using the Wings radio protocol, allowing it to transmit visual alarm verification snapshots even through the range extender.

Does the Ajax ReX 2 (38207) support Wi-Fi connectivity?

No, the ReX 2 does not utilize Wi-Fi. It connects to the Hub via the Jeweller/Wings radio protocols or through the built-in Ethernet port to penetrate dense obstacles like concrete and steel.

What warranty and support do I get with this device?

Apsardze24.lv provides a comprehensive 2-Year Warranty for both business and private customers. We manage all claims directly through our local service center in Riga.

Which Ajax Hub models are compatible with this range extender?

This device is strictly compatible with Hub 2 and Hub 2 Plus. It does not work with the original Hub or Hub Plus because it requires the Wings protocol for photo verification support.
