Ordered the Ajax wireless fire siren from apsardze24.lv and I am thoroughly impressed! The red housing is super visible, and setting it up took no time at all. It’s loud, reliable, and gives me real peace of mind. Great service and fast delivery too!

What is the maximum wireless range of the Jeweller connection?

The device supports a wireless communication range of up to 2,000 meters in an open space. Obstacles such as thick walls or ceilings within the facility will reduce this effective range.

What warranty does Apsardze24.lv provide for this commercial siren?

We provide a **2-Year Warranty** on the Ajax Sounder EN 54. Unlike general marketplaces, Apsardze24.lv handles all warranty claims directly through our service center in Riga for fast resolution.

Is the Ajax Sounder EN 54 suitable for outdoor installation?

This model is designed for indoor wall or ceiling mounting in commercial environments. Please verify the IP rating in the official manual for any non-standard environmental conditions or contact our support.

How loud is the alarm signal on the 118604 model?

The sounder delivers a loud 85 dB alert at a distance of 3 meters. This volume level is calibrated to meet EN 54-3 standards for effective audio signaling during a fire alarm.

How long do the batteries last in this wireless fire siren?

The siren operates on pre-installed batteries with a lifespan of up to 5 years. The system sends early low-battery warnings to the Ajax app, and the design allows for a swift battery swap when necessary.

Which hub is required to operate the Ajax Sounder EN 54 (118604)?

This device is explicitly designed for use with the **EN54 Fire Hub Jeweller**. To ensure full EN 54-3 and EN 54-25 compliance for commercial fire systems, it must be paired with the appropriate certified control panel.

Does this sounder work as a standalone fire detector?

No, this is a siren (sounder) that activates automatically upon receiving an alarm signal from connected Ajax fire detectors. It does not have built-in smoke or heat detection capabilities.
