Is the zoom on the SD4A425DB-HNY powerful enough to read license plates?
Yes, definitely. The camera features a **5-125mm lens (25x Optical Zoom)**, which is designed for long-range surveillance. You can clearly identify details like license plates up to approximately 250 meters away.
What happens if my camera stops working after a year?
We provide a comprehensive **2-Year Warranty** for both business and private clients. All warranty services are handled locally in **Riga**, ensuring fast turnaround times without the need to ship the unit abroad.
How many days of video history can the SD4A425DB-HNY store?
This model supports MicroSD cards up to 256GB. Thanks to efficient H.265+ compression, a 256GB card can typically store about **14 days** of continuous 4MP footage, or several weeks if you set it to record only when motion is detected.
I am having trouble setting up the tour presets on my SD4A425DB-HNY, who can help?
Configuring PTZ patrols can be technical. Please verify your 'Preset' and 'Tour' settings in the web interface. If the issue persists, please contact our support team at [email protected] for assistance.
How does the SD4A425DB-HNY perform in complete darkness?
The camera has excellent night vision capabilities. It uses **Starlight Technology** to maintain color images in very low light, and in total darkness, its powerful infrared (IR) LEDs provide clear black-and-white visibility up to **100 meters**.
Is this the Official EU version of the Dahua SD4A425DB-HNY?
Yes, Apsardze24.lv sells only the **Official EU version**. This guarantees that the camera supports English firmware updates, has no region locks, and fully complies with local regulations.
Does the SD4A425DB-HNY require a specific type of PoE switch?
Yes, this PTZ camera consumes up to 21.5W when the IR lights are active. You must use a **PoE+ (802.3at)** switch or injector, as a standard PoE (802.3af) switch does not provide enough power for the motors.
Which mobile app do I need to control the SD4A425DB-HNY remotely?
You should download the **DMSS** app, which is available for free on both iOS and Android. This app allows you to view live video, control the pan-tilt-zoom functions, and receive instant alerts from your camera.
Can the SD4A425DB-HNY automatically follow people walking on my property?
Yes, it is equipped with **WizSense Auto-tracking**. The camera uses AI to distinguish humans and vehicles from other objects, automatically locking onto them and following their movement to keep them in the frame.

Jessica Morgan –
I’m really impressed with this Dahua PTZ camera. The 25x optical zoom is incredible for seeing details across my large backyard, and the Starlight night vision is crystal clear even in total darkness. Setup with PoE was a breeze. Great service from the shop too!
