Is the 2.8mm lens on this Dahua video verification kit suitable for identifying faces at a long distance?

The 2.8mm lens is a wide-angle lens designed to provide a broad field of view, making it ideal for monitoring entire rooms or large entryways. While it is excellent for general overview and movement verification, it is not intended for high-detail tasks like reading license plates from a distance.

How does the video verification storage work for the ART-ARC3800H-03-FW2-868 security kit?

When the PIR-Cam detects motion, it captures images or short video clips that are transmitted to the hub and then directly to your mobile app for visual confirmation. For specific details regarding local storage card compatibility or extended cloud recording options, please contact our technical support at [email protected].

Which mobile app should I use to manage the ART-ARC3800H-03-FW2-868 Dahua alarm kit?

You should download and install the DMSS app, which is available for both iOS and Android. This application allows you to receive instant push notifications for alarms, view live video from the integrated 2.8mm camera, and arm or disarm your system remotely from anywhere in the world.

How many additional sensors can I add to this wireless alarm security kit?

This professional-grade hub is highly expandable and can support up to 150 wireless peripherals, including additional door contacts, sirens, and smoke detectors. It uses advanced two-way communication and frequency hopping to ensure that all connected devices remain stable and secure against interference.

Will the ART-ARC3800H-03-FW2-868 system still work if my home Wi-Fi goes down?

Yes, the system is built for reliability with multi-network redundancy. It supports Ethernet, Wi-Fi, and 4G LTE connections. If your Wi-Fi fails, the hub can automatically switch to the cellular 4G network (provided a SIM card is installed) to ensure your property remains protected and you continue to receive alerts.

What happens if my Dahua wireless alarm system malfunctions after the first year?

We provide a comprehensive 2-year warranty for both private and business customers. Since Apsardze24.lv operates a local service center in Riga, any necessary repairs or replacements are handled quickly and efficiently, avoiding the long wait times associated with shipping products back to manufacturers abroad.

Is this ART-ARC3800H-03-FW2-868 White alarm kit the official EU version?

Yes, this is the official EU version supplied by Apsardze24.lv. This ensures that the device is not region-locked, receives all official Dahua firmware updates automatically through the cloud, and functions perfectly with European server infrastructures.
