  1. Jessica Turner –

Ordered the Dahua 7″ Wi-Fi indoor monitor from apsardze24.lv and I am thoroughly impressed! The touchscreen is super responsive, and the white finish looks sleek in our hallway. Shipping was fast and hassle-free. Highly recommend both the product and the store!

What are the 6 alarm inputs on the VTH5422HW-W used for?

These inputs allow you to hardwire external sensors—such as magnetic door contacts, smoke detectors, or PIR motion sensors—directly to the monitor, effectively turning it into a compact local alarm hub.

Is this VTH5422HW-W the official EU version?

Yes, Apsardze24.lv supplies the **Official EU version**. It includes English and standard European language support, receives official firmware updates, and has no region-locking issues commonly found in grey-market imports.

What happens if my monitor stops working after a year?

We provide a comprehensive **2-Year Warranty** for both private and business customers. Our service center is located in **Riga**, ensuring fast repairs or replacements without the need to ship the device abroad.

Does the VTH5422HW-W record video footage 24/7?

No, this is an indoor monitor designed to store visitor snapshots and short audio/video messages when calls are unanswered. Thanks to H.265 compression, a standard MicroSD card can store thousands of event logs efficiently.

Is this monitor compatible with older Dahua outdoor stations?

Compatibility can vary depending on the firmware generation of your existing outdoor unit (VTO). For a specific compatibility check before buying, please send your current model details to [email protected].

How is the VTH5422HW-W powered during installation?

This unit uses 2-wire digital communication. It is powered via the two data wires connected to a compatible Dahua 2-wire controller (such as the VTNS series), not via standard PoE switches.

Can I connect the VTH5422HW-W to the internet via Wi-Fi?

Yes, this monitor features built-in Wi-Fi. While it receives power and local data via the 2-wire connection, it can connect to your home router wirelessly to enable app functionality (DMSS) without running an extra Ethernet cable.

Which mobile app works with the VTH5422HW-W for remote access?

You should download the **DMSS** app (Dahua Mobile Security Surveillance), which is available for both iOS and Android. This allows you to receive calls, unlock doors, and view the feed remotely.
